*holy music*
Tadah! This is my pumpkin this year! I must say this is probably the best jack-o-lantern I've ever done. I was very nervous about how well it would work as you can probably imagine.
This took somewhere from 2-3 hours over the course of 2 nights including cleaning out the pumpkin. I created the pattern myself from a wallpaper of Vincent Valentine (thumbnail shown top left). I'll be putting up the pattern momentarily, but be forewarned, it is quite difficult.
Happy Halloween everyone! :D

The original image and Vincent Valentine belong to Square-Enix.
Pattern and carving by me. :)

Lol, :iconlove-mink: totally freaked when I showed her this.

UPDATE: Pattern available here! [link]

How on earth did you carve this without the small sections snapping off O,O

Very. VERY. Carefully. :XD:
Most important tip: BE GENTLE.
My technique for cutting while applying minimal force to the less sturdy sections is to move the saw blade up and down quickly while going through the section more slowly. That way it only shaves at it little by little as it progresses and doesn't catch enough to push too hard.
